Iguana posing

Iguana, Parque Seminario, Santiago de Guayaquil (Ecuador)

The park (over 120 years old) is located in the Rocafuerte sector, in front of Guayaquil’s Cathedral. Besides the iguanas, there’s a pond with Japanese fish and turtles, and also a central equestrian statue of Simón Bolivar. It’s very accessible, so it’s completely worth the visit. It’s also very close to the Malecón 2000, where you can go for a nice walk right next to the river Guayas.
